Welcome to Our New Children's Director

By Pastor Mark McAdow
After an extensive search, our Staff-Parish Relations Committee (SPRC) interviewed and offered Amanda “Mandie” Williams the job as our new children’s director. She accepted two weeks ago. We believe the Lord has answered our prayers!

She grew up in Marlow, Okla., and has lived here in Enid for over a decade, so she knows Enid well. She will officially begin this Sunday, Feb. 2, 2025. I will introduce her in both worship services, and the SPRC will host a brief “meet and greet” reception from 10:10 to 10:30 a.m. in our Family Life Center.

“Miss Mandie” has worked with children for over 15 years and has been a special education paraprofessional in Enid Public Schools for eight years and the last two years at Chisholm Elementary. She knows some of our children already and has been highly recommended by several of our Willow View parents. She shared with me, “I am so very excited to be joining all of you in praising God and leading children to God!” She comes with great enthusiasm and an incredible love for children. You will love and appreciate Miss Mandie!

Mandie has two children in her life. Kyla is 24 and has blessed her with two beautiful grandchildren: Maybree is 4 and Madden is 2. Mandie has a younger son at home named Cooper who is 12 years old who is “one of the greatest joys of her life.” A few fun facts about Mandie include that she has lived in Europe, has two Pomeranians named Mya and Lilo, she loves to sing and worship, and she loves a good hug. Let’s be sure she experiences many good Willow View hugs!

Give Miss Mandie a very warm welcome and be sure to thank Jessica Walker and Kitty King for their faithful ministry to our kids as co-leaders, plus a host of other faithful Willow View volunteers

See you back in worship this Sunday!

Yours in Christ’s love,
Pastor Mark

Praise the Lord for yesterday’s refreshing rain!

Please pray for all those impacted by the horrific plane/helicopter crash Wednesday night in the Virginia/Washington, D.C., area.  Life is precious.  Life is hard, but God is good.
