We had a wonderful Holy Week last week and a fantastic Easter Sunday Celebration! Over 400 folks joined us for three special Worship services beginning with our Sunrise Service at 7:00 a.m. led by Pastor Scott and our youth. It was our biggest, warmest, and shortest Easter Sunrise Service ever! Thanks to Priscilla and our worship band, as well as our Youth who participated in the Easter readings and singing.
Do you remember what Jesus said to his disciples when he first appeared to them following the resurrection? It was four simple words that bless each of us to this day! “Peace be with you!” That’s what the world needs today and what each of us desire too! Peace. Please take a moment today and “pray for the peace of Jerusalem” according to Psalm 122:6. Pray also for Gaza, Ukraine, Russia, Haiti, and Africa. All these regions need to experience the peace of Jesus.
When a person makes their membership vows at Willow View, we give them a copy of the book Jesus Calling by Sarah Young. The subtitle is “Practicing the peace of His Presence.” When Jesus enters your heart, you experience genuine peace. No Jesus. No Peace. Know Jesus. Know Peace. In His present is fullness of joy!
Receive the peace of Jesus today and pass it one to someone else!
