Make Fall Festival Fun

By Quintin Wray
I want to reach out to remind each of you that Fall Festival is just around the corner. We will have our annual Fall Festival on Oct. 31 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

This year will look a little bit different as our “theme” is just a good ol’ Fall Festival theme. Jessica Walker and Kitty King have been working hard on getting games and other activities ready for families to enjoy while they are here celebrating with us. Remember, Fall Festival is our largest outreach event of the year. We have seen many people come through the doors of Willow View in the past years. We want to have another great event this year.

We need some help from our Willow View family. There are many ways you can help.  We need bags of individually wrapped candy, canned pop, cookies and cakes – and the most important, you!  You can drop bags of candy in the bucket on the fireplace, canned pop can be stacked on the fireplace, cookies and cakes can be  dropped off starting Sunday, Oct. 29.

Volunteers are needed to help with set up on Sunday, Oct. 29 (pizza will be served for lunch). Plus, volunteers are needed to work the games and events the night of the festival and to help clean up.

Each Discipleship Community will be assigned two games/booths. Each game/booth will have two time slots with two people needed for each time slot.  If you are not in a Discipleship Community and would like to volunteer, there will be plenty of opportunities.  Email, call or text Jessica Walker at jwalker2925@gmail.com or (580) 554-4554 if you want to volunteer or have any questions.

God bless you all,
Quintin Wray
