Welcome,
Have you ever noticed all the products for sale designed to protect us from aging and death? The makers of hair-loss products, anti-wrinkle creams, tooth whiteners, exercise programs, and medicines designed to give us more “quality” years are all telling us we are decaying and losing our grip on life. According to our culture life is constantly hanging in the balance. But for most of us we do all we can to ignore the reality of death. We don’t attend funerals, we put off making out our will, and we ignore the paperwork to complete a living will because all these things are too “morbid.” We ignore any thoughts of our own mortality.

But the fact remains that death is a part of life. Join us at Willow View for a six-week series on Death and Dying. We will explore the realities of our own mortality, how to deal with difficult deaths of our loved ones, children, and victims of suicide, and how to continue to live with purpose in a worn out body. This series will give you practical insights and tools into dealing emotionally and spiritually with death, theological groundings for discussions with nominal and non-Christians, and hope for life after death. Join us as we examine a Christian perspective on Death and Dying during July and August at Willow View.
