Opportunities for  adults

Ready to learn and share with other adults?
Here are some great ways to connect with others whatever your interests.

Find ways to grow in faith

They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. – Acts 2:42

Adult Discipleship Communities offer a great way to learn and share with a smaller group on Sunday mornings. But don't stop there. More opportunities await. You can learn and share through seasonal short-term studies, often held on Wednesday evenings. Men’s and women’s groups offer lessons, fellowship and purposeful prayer. Or, share your musical abilities.  Other group ministries focus on a specific area of our faith life. Follow your interests and MAKE A CONNECTION!

Adult  discipleship  communities

Adult Discipleship Communities meet during the "Sunday School" hour (10 - 11 a.m.) and are the primary small group experience for adults.

Women's groups

Willow View offers a variety of women's activities for all stages of life.
United Women of Faith meets the second Sunday of each month at 6 p.m. This group has ladies of all ages who enjoy dinner, devotion and a monthly mission activity.
We also have short-term women's Bible studies that meet both during the day and evening. Check the Willow View Calendar for current dates and times of these studies.

First Friday Fellowship

It’s about nurturing men in their relationships with God and one another.  On the first Friday of each month, men gather at Wee Too Restaurant for a time of sharing and a devotional.
“As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another “  (Proverbs 27:17)

Wednesdays at Willow View

On Wednesday evenings during the school year, Willow View has Bible studies for all adults.  Topics include the Holy Spirit, prayer, biblical truth and other relevant studies.

Music Ministry

Our adult choir is a wonderful ministry and fellowship group at Willow View. It meets each Wednesday night from 7:30 to 8:30 in the choir room and participates in the traditional worship service at 9 a.m. on Sundays. The choir sings a variety of music from traditional hymns to contemporary pieces.  No prior musical experience is necessary, just a desire to worship and make a “joyful noise” to the Lord!

Rightnow Media

The mission of RightNow Media is to work with the global church to inspire people to love others before self and Christ above all.   Willow View has purchased access to the incredible RightNow archive of more than 20,000 video programs to assist classes or individuals in having the most contemporary materials. Many of the Adult Discipleship Communities live-stream RightNow topical videos series programs for Sunday morning discussions.
But, access to RightNow resources is not limited to groups or even in-church use.  Willow View members can sign up for free access to these programs for personal or family use.
The RightNow media library offers a broad variety of intentionally selected categories: discipleship, life application, Scripture study, outreach, and community and relationships. You can use these Bible studies in person or go through them virtually using the virtual groups feature.
RightNow is a streaming library of more than 20,000 Bible study videos for use by the Willow View family.
