The July 16th service at Willow View provided a unique opportunity for our congregation to experience the hearts of Pastor Mark and Robin McAdow as they shared the "preamble" of their adoption story for their daughter Hannah.

We hope that you will listen to this sermon online if you were unable to hear it in person and make plans to join us as we continue experiencing Sermons from the Heart in upcoming weeks.

For Youth

Fireproof Youth

At Willow View, our youth play a strong role in the life of the church.  We have weekly activities and monthly special events to create connection to the love of God.  During our worship services, you will consistently see youth participating within our church through playing in the Oasis band, serving communion, reading scriptures and leading prayers.

youth 1Sunday School

Sunday School is provided weekly from 10:10-10:50 am.  We have High School Sunday School in the northwest corner of the Family Life Center.  Middle school students meet in the northeast corner of the church, near the youth director’s office.  Our Director of Youth Ministries and volunteers intentionally select curriculum that is culturally relevant and helps strengthen faith to deal with the storms of life.   Sunday School also helps provide a foundation for developing long term relationships.

Sunday Night Youth Activities

Our Sunday Night Youth Activities utilize fun games and creative avenues to explore faith and develop beliefs.  This time is informal and flexible to encourage youth to share and develop spiritually in a safe environment.  We meet in the Family Life Center where we start with our games and activities.  The typical Sunday schedule is middle school youth from 5-6 pm, combined snacks from 6-6:30, and high school youth from 6:30-7:30.

youth 2CLUE Camp

We go to two weeklong summer camps a year at Canyon Camp near Hinton, OK.  To start the summer, we have Jr. High CLUE for youth coming out of 6th-8th grades the first week of June.  Our High School CLUE runs for the last week of July for students coming out of 9th-12th grades.  CLUE Camp creates special lifelong bonds with an emphasis on discipleship within the small group setting with other students from around northwest Oklahoma.  During CLUE, youth also experience praise and worship with a band, daily communion, and dynamic sharing of hearts in corporate worship.  CLUE Camp also features hiking which leads to a cross at the top of the canyon, swimming and other recreation activities.  We also meet with our friends from CLUE camp throughout the year at group events like the CLUE Kickoff and see them at sporting events and activities throughout the school year.

Special Activities

Our youth group attends concerts, leads youth Sunday once a year, provides outreach through bagging groceries for Shepherd’s Cupboard, collects canned goods for Horn of Plenty, and leads a church-wide day of prayer on Holy Saturday (between Good Friday and Easter).  We also participate in activities of service during Vacation Bible School such as giving water to those in need and bringing music to members of our church and communities who are unable to attend services.  Members of the group also contribute on a monthly basis to support a child from Senegal, West Africa through World Vision.
