The July 16th service at Willow View provided a unique opportunity for our congregation to experience the hearts of Pastor Mark and Robin McAdow as they shared the "preamble" of their adoption story for their daughter Hannah.

We hope that you will listen to this sermon online if you were unable to hear it in person and make plans to join us as we continue experiencing Sermons from the Heart in upcoming weeks.

For Kids

children 2Children are vital to the life of Willow View.  We want our kids to know that Jesus loves them, and so does our congregation.  We encourage kids to be part of our worship experience through a weekly children’s message and age appropriate activities that are fun and teach Biblical principles of love and kindness.

Sunday School

Sunday School is provided for children of all ages from 10:10-10:50 every Sunday.  We have dedicated teachers who are trained annually.  We also carefully select curriculum that focuses on experiencing the love of Jesus while learning Bible stories.

Children’s Church

Children’s Church is an optional activity for our kids who are in Pre-K through first grade during the second half of each worship service.  The activities presented in Children’s Church are intentionally connected to the Sunday School lessons from the same day to create repetition and promote learning.  During this time, children hear the Bible story and engage in music, crafts, games or other activities to learn the presented principles.

SWERVE stands for Serving While Establishing Relationships and Values Everyday.  This is our Wednesday night program that runs from 6:00-7:00 pm for children and youth ages Pre-K through 4th grade.  We start with a big group activity where we have active music, praise and worship, and a short devotional based on a theme.  Our children often serve as readers or musical leaders during this time.

We then divide into smaller groups and experience crafts, games, music and snacks related to the presented theme.  SWERVE meets in the family life center and all children (Pre-K through 4th grade) must be signed in and out by parents.

Vacation Bible School

VBS is a weeklong summer outreach activity where we encourage our kids to explore faith through multimedia activities, games, crafts, music and story time.  Our children are able to learn and grown in faith through immersion in these different experiences on a daily basis.

DSC_0106Summer Camp

We provide opportunities for our older children and youth to attend camp every year at Canyon Camp (near Hinton, OK).  While at camp, kids are given the opportunity to experience God through age based praise and worship experiences, outdoor activities, cabin devotions, and crafts.  Lengths of camp and costs vary depending on age.  Please contact the Youth Director or church office for more information on camps.

Nursery care at Willow View is about much more than simply watching your children for you. The nursery at Willow View is intentional about caring for your small child in a way God cares for them: unconditionally. Our nursery allows parents to enjoy the Bible study, worship service, or other activity of their choice, knowing that their infant and toddler-aged children are receiving quality care in a safe and nurturing environment. Our paid nursery staff members are strenuously screened and trained in CPR and basic childcare. Our volunteers are screened and hand selected to give parents and children the loving attention they need.

The nursery is available during Sunday morning activities, during Wednesday evening activities, during choir practices, and during special events.
