Music Ministries
It’s about making a joyful noise. Our Adult Choir is a wonderful
ministry and fellowship group at Willow View. We meet each Wednesday
night from 7:30-8:30 in the choir room located behind the stage in the
sanctuary. No prior musical experience is necessary: just a desire to
worship and make a “joyful noise” to the Lord!
Women's Ministries It's
about nurturing women in their relationships with God and one
another. Our successful United Methodist Women's group meets on
the first Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. The Willow View UMW
emphasizes local and worldwide missions including the Enid Crisis
Center, Youth and Family Services, Holsinger Group Foster Home, Habitat
for Humanity, assisting local schools in collecting school supplies,
the international missions of the UMW, and Church Women United.
Other women's ministries include our Prayer Shawl ministry, a women's
Bible study, a young women's fellowship and Bible study that meets in a
local coffee house, and a scrapbooking group, among other groups.
All these groups are designed to meet the various spiritual and
relational needs of women in our community.

Missions
It's
about changing lives and making a difference. The emphasis of our
mission ministry is to follow in the footsteps of Jesus by caring for
the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of those in Enid, the
United States, and throughout the world.
Our main mission emphasis is on the Shepherd's Cupboard at Bethany
United Methodist Church which is located in the heart of the most needy
in Enid and runs the second largest food pantry in the state of
Oklahoma, giving away almost 25,000 pounds of food each month. We
provide more than 80% of the funding and bag almost 60% of the
groceries given away at our sister church. We also head up many other
special food and supply distributions at Bethany UMC. We distributed
over 100,000 pounds of food and supplies to over 5,000 children and
adults in special distributions in the summer of 2010. In 2011 we
helped feed over 22,000 people, including almost 10,000 children.
We continue to seek to make our world a better place by providing
school supplies and backpacks to needy children, by assisting with rent
and utility bills through various community organizations, and by fully
participating in the United Methodist apportionment system. We are
indeed changing lives and making a Christian difference in our world.

Evangelism
It's about people coming to know Jesus. The evangelism team seeks to
reach new people for Jesus. Hospitality, developing friendships, and
sharing our faith stories are important parts of others coming to know
Jesus in a more dynamic way.
Nurture It's
about becoming closer to one another. We understand many in our world
are lost and lonely. Through care and nurture we strive to share with
others the love of God. The Nurture Team leads Willow View in the
ministries of hospital visitation, homebound community, van ministry,
funeral dinners, and various other pastoral care ministries. Contact
the Nurture Team Chair if you would like to be involved in any of these
important ministries or our new Shepherding ministry.
Walk to Emmaus
It's about experiencing God's grace. On the Walk to Emmaus
weekend you will experience God's grace like never before. This
spiritual retreat weekend for adults is held in Enid two times a year
and is designed around 15 talks by clergy and laity teaching basic
Christian theology, and more importantly, about God's grace and
love. If you are interested in the Walk to Emmaus experience
contact the church office.
Boy Scouts
It's about growing into faithful men. Boy Scout Troop #47 has
been affiliated with Willow View since its inception in 1995.
Since then there have been more than 60 boys attain the rank of Eagle
Scout. Through the ministry of Troop #47 teenage boys will learn
about faith, honor, and life. Troop #47 meets each Tuesday night
at 7 p.m. during the school year.
